There are even arrows directing you on how to queue because let's just say getting off the train (or elevator, or similar enclosed space) is otherwise like trying to walk against the buffalo stampede in the Lion King - can have tragic consequences.
Hilariously, there is a local website (Stomp) where people can snap photos or tell tales of people breaking the public transport rules. As Singapore is such a non-confrontation society, it's essentially a venting site, and hence often hilarious reading. Courtesy-seat-fake-train-sleepers, be warned!
